Leyao's Chinese Chicken Salad

Marinate chicken (boned is preferred), with LEYAO'S Oriental Salad Dressing for at least two hours or overnight. Broil or grill before serving and set aside for later use.

Vegetables to use in salads: Any type of lettuce-Romaine, Red Leaf, etc. Wash, dry excess water, and cut to bite sizes.

Other vegetables: Cucumbers, celery, radishes, etc. Use your imagination!

Optional ingredients: Mandarin orange sections, jicama, pineapple, meat pieces, chow mein noodles, jalapenos, toasted slivered or sliced almonds, roasted sesame seeds.

If you are brave, fry some dry rice noodles in very hot oil a little bit at a time. You'll get a light, white crunchy treat for your salad. Pour desired amount of LEYAO'S Oriental Salad Dressing on salad. Toss well and enjoy!


Leyao's Pasta Salad
  • 1 pound of your favorite pasta (boil according to package instructions)
  • 1 cup each of diced cucumbers, celery, carrots, and bell peppers
  • 1 cup of diced meat (chicken, beef, turkey, etc.)
  • 1 cup of LEYAO'S Oriental Salad Dressing
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions
Combine ingredients and toss well. Let sit 30 minutes or overnight. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds. Salt and pepper to taste.
